Racers Game Against Charge Rescheduled for 7/1

AKRON, OH (June 30, 2017) – The Akron Racers game against the Texas Charge on Friday night that was scheduled to open a three-game series between both teams was postponed due to heavy rain throughout the evening. 

 
The two teams will now play a double header Saturday, July 1.  The make-up game is scheduled to begin at 4:05 p.m., prior to the regularly scheduled game at 7:05 p.m.  The Racers will close the first homestand of the season on Sunday, July 2 with a game against the Charge scheduled to have first pitch at 4:05 p.m.
 
Fans with tickets to tonight’s game can use them to get into tomorrow’s game or exchange them with the Akron Racers ticket office for any home game in the 2017 season.  For ticket information or to purchase tickets for any game contact the ticket office at 330-376-8188.
