ROSEMONT, Ill.(June 26.2017) – The Chicago Bandits will hold a media day session on Friday, June 30, beginning at 2:30 p.m. CST.
All media outlets are encouraged to attend, including local and regional publications and fan blogs interested in covering the Bandits and National Pro Fastpitch. Bottled water and snack items will be provided to all media members and photo opportunities will be offered.
First-year head coach Sharonda McDonald, along with outfielder Sammy Marshall, pitcher Haylie Wagner and 2017 first-round draft selection Sahvanna Jaquish will be made available.

Marshall leads the NPF in numerous offensive categories, including hits (29), runs scored (15), total bases (39) and triples (2).
Jaquish, a rookie catcher from Louisiana State University, boasts a .341 clip at the plate and ranks second on the team with nine RBI.
In the circle, Wagner, an offseason acquisition from the defunct Pennsylvania Rebellion, has paced the Bandits with a team-high six wins. She has held opponents to a .199 batting average and holds a respectable 2.80 ERA.
Through the first month of the season, the Bandits sit in third place in the league standings with an 11-9 record, including a stellar 9-2 mark at The Ballpark at Rosemont.

Since 2005, the Chicago Bandits have been members of the National Pro Fastpitch league.
