Double Header at Firestone Stadium Rained Out

AKRON, OH (June 23, 2017) – The scheduled three-team double header featuring the Akron Racers, Beijing Shougang Eagles and USSSA Pride at Firestone Stadium on Friday evening has been postponed due to heavy rain and inclement weather.
The scheduled game between Beijing and the Pride will now be played tomorrow, Saturday, June 24, with first pitch scheduled for 4:35 p.m. in Akron.  Shortly after the conclusion of that game, the Racers will host the Pride in their regularly scheduled game at approximately 7:05 p.m. on Saturday, June 24.
Tonight’s game featuring Akron hosting the Pride will now be made up as a part of a double header between the two teams on July 27.  The first game of the double header will begin at 5:05 p.m.
Fans with tickets to tonight’s double header can bring those tickets in and exchange those tickets with the Racers box office for any game in the 2017 season.
