SUGAR LAND, Texas – August 4, 2015 - The Dallas Charge defeated the USSSA Pride, 3-0, on a beautiful Tuesday evening at Constellation Field in front of 2,193 fans. The Pride fall to 31-14 on the season while the Charge improve to 16-26 on the year.
Morgan Melloh threw a complete-game shutout, scattering four hits and three walks with five strikeouts to earn the win. Keilani Rickets was tagged with the loss after giving up three runs on four hits with one walk over 4.0 innings.
Nicole Morgan paced both offenses at the plate, going 2-for-3 with an RBI and a run scored.
