Jennie Finch arrives early for Thursday, August 19 game
ELGIN- Chicago Bandits general manager Aaron Moore announced today that the softball icon and Bandits' pitcher Jennie Finch will now be playing in the Thursday, August 19 game against the Tennessee Diamonds in Elgin, Ill.
Finch initially planned on being at the August 20-22 games, but not the first game on August 19 due to previous commitments.
This allows Bandits fans an additional opportunity to catch one of the world's greatest players in action before her retirement from the game of softball all together at the end of this season.
Thursday, August 19 will also be the K~LOVE Family Faith night at the ballpark prior to the 7:05 pm game against the Tennessee Diamonds.
The Bandits are excited that fans now have this extra opportunity to catch Finch in action before she ends a highly successful, 10 year career including a silver and gold medal with Team USA and a League Championship with the Chicago Bandits.
