The Chicago Bandits and A.D.O.P.T. Pet Shelter Partner

ELGIN – The Chicago Bandits and A.D.O.P.T. Pet Shelter invite all four-legged friends and their owners to the annual “Bark in the Park” day on Sunday, July 11 when the Bandits host the Akron Racers at 2:05 p.m. at Judson University. The canine celebration is held in partnership with A.D.O.P.T. Pet Shelter.

Dog owners, along with their “best friends,” will have the opportunity to get their photos taken by our professional photographer, receive an official “Bark in the Park” souvenir paw print, and participate in other “dog friendly” activities. Other special events will be incorporated as July 11 draws near.

“This is a phenomenal way for animal-lovers to enjoy a day at the ballpark with their canine companions and socialize with other animal-lovers, all while raising awareness and supporting animals in need. We are honored to be a part of ‘Bark in the Park’ day and look forward to helping homeless animals unite with their forever families!” said Kelly Thompson, Marketing and Events Coordinator of A.D.O.P.T.
